Support Services FAQs
Our PC remote support software is custom designed and it only for our existing clients that require remote support. The connection is always relayed and encrypted. An audit log can be provided to the client with a complete access log (start time/end time, duration, authentication method and technician). This ensures complete transparency between MPE Technologies and our clients
Our CCTV review portal is a custom program, designed in house. The portal provides a way for strata managers to request CCTV footage for CCTV systems that MPE Technologies manage.
How does it work?
- An account is created for the Strata manager and is assigned to a building
- The strata manager can request a ‘CCTV Review’ to retrieve footage from the building.
- MPE Technologies will retrieve the footage, upload it to the portal and will notify the strata manager upon completion
- A list of reviews will be available to the strata manager to review.
- The strata manager can review the technician notes, download the specific footage uploaded into the evidence container.
- The complete process is audited and logged to ensure correct CCTV use and maintain privacy.
CCTV Privacy
- Remote access is never provided to the COO or the strata company. This includes live view and playback functionality
- Requests must be made to MPE Technologies so it is documented and logged.
- A MPE Technologies technician will review the footage set in the review. A timeline will be given in the review and only the timeline will be reviewed.
- Camera errors & faults are monitored directly by the CCTV system (NVR or server) and is reported to MPE Technologies via email.
- MPE Technologies strictly follows the Surveillance Devices Act 1998. A copy of the act can be found here: Surveillance Devices Act 1998
